We are very lucky to have this place so very close by only a mile down the road . From here you can walk down by the river all the way to Withypool with its cafe , village shop and pub, or if you don't want to walk that far there is a circular walk that follows the river Barle around then back to enjoy the pleasures of Tarr farm Inn. If this is to energetic just sit and enjoy a drink down the the steps .

A lovely, easy walk in beautiful Exmoor, with a good pub at the start/end of it (Tarr Farm Inn) with a beer garden overlooking the river. This beautiful circular walk is clearly signed and takes you along one bank of the river and back the other side, in around one hour.

A wonderful place to visit . Take a disposable bbq or picnic . Also lovely coffee shop to have a cream tea . Have a paddle in the waters .

A must see for the beauty of the area. Gorgeous walk along the river through woods. A delight! Book a table or turn up to Tarr Farm Inn/hotel as the food is fabulous
