Arrowtown is a old gold mining settlement in the year 1862, gold was discovered in the Arrow River recently this year 2022. you need to check out The Gold Shop. Also Arrowtown has a wonderful legacy in terms of it's build heritage. Around 60 cottages , shops, churches and the Chinese Settlement still remain from gold mining period.
