A lovely half day out. We enjoyed the audio tour and found it extremely interesting, but don't do this on a wet day as it's all outside.

St Augustine's Abbey was a Benedictine monastery, founded in 598 and functioning as a monastery until its dissolution in 1538 during the English Reformation. A great way to spend an afternoon, walking around the ruins with the audio tour.
