If you like a good walk.... take a walk up to the Helm. From the trig point at the top of the helm you have amazing panoramic views of the surrounding country side .... when you descend the other side there is a conveniently placed pub to catch a break in

Small hill, local to Oxenholme train station. Popular for dog walks. Wild horses on the hill. Train and local bus nearby. Great views of Kendal. Good for sunsets. Easy walk.
