Tons of hiking trails from Bidwell house, private tours available upon request. But it's free to visit the grounds.
The events are high quality, and real fun as it’s usually not overcrowded. The regular tour is interesting, but with small kids I would stick to the events and the well marked hiking trails. The grounds have the historic house, old stone structures, different habitats and forest types. Parking and the grounds are free to visit.
The Bidwell House Museum, set in the Berkshire hills of Western Massachusetts, is an elegant Georgian saltbox originally built circa 1760 as a parsonage. Authentically restored, filled with period furnishings, and surrounded by 192 acres of beautiful grounds and hiking trails
