Hemel-en-Aarde winery with most photographed views that looks out towards the Atlantic Ocean. Their Pinot Noir is unforgettable and Chef Rickey serves great food.

With spectacular views of mountains and vineyards leading down to the nearby Atlantic Ocean, The Restaurant at Newton Johnson is situated on our farm in the Upper Hemel-and-Aarde Valley just outside the seaside town of Hermanus. Using the bounty of ingredients found and grown right here on the farm. The Restaurant’s carefully formed team – led by chef Ricky Broekhoven & managed by Theo van Niekerk – creates a seasonally evolving menu that is inspired by the very specific terroir and wines of Newton Johnson. The delicate dishes are layered with flavour that are subtly complemented by our wines. Reservations are required for a table, but walk -ins are always welcome if we have space available.

Not only does Newton Johnson make amazing wines, their fine dining food is also unparalleled. This wine farm is situated in the infamous Hemel-and-Aarde wine route outside Hermanus. On a clear day, the valley with the ocean in the background paints a picture that the best artists in the world can only dream of.

This wine farm in the Hemel en Aarde wine valley near Hermanus is home to some of South Africa's best wines. Their Pinot Noir is to die for, as is their Chardonnay. They are also home to, in my opinion, the best restaurant in South Africa. It's aptly called The Restaurant. The chef, Eric Bullpit, is a total food magician. His creations are as beautiful as they are delicious. This place is a MUST!
