If you want to be surrounded by people in a lively setting, the roof bar at the Ace is always packed. On one side there’s a hot tub, on the other a DJ. And it's got a great 360-degree view of downtown. Shoot an aerial of downtown. You really can't take a bad shot up here.

Located next door on the rooftop of Ace hotel. Friday/Saturday nights are great for dancing. Check out schedule for daily events raging from DJ sets, live music, to book releases and yoga classes.

If you are looking to head to Downtown LA and bringing you laptop, stop by the Ace Hotel (entrance is located to the far right of the building via the elevator). They have a pool you can use as well!

The Upstairs Bar at the Ace Hotel is my favorite rooftop. For a trendy and hip place, the drinks are still affordable and the staff are incredibly nice. It's relaxing and quiet before sunset, and a place to 'go and be seen' after 9pm. Be prepared to wait in line at night on the weekends.
