Lots of outdoor seating. Super old school interior. Be sure to sit by one of the indoor fireplaces.

Gastrognome has been in Idyllwild for a very long time. The settings is quaint and sweet and very apropos for the mountains. And of course I love gnomes, so I approve. The menu is American and comforting. Its been a while since I have eaten here to give you a specific recomendation on an entree, but I see consistency good reviews on Yelp! Great outdoor seating if you have a dog.

Upscale New American cuisine offered in a rustic mountain cabin with a fireplace & patio. Fantastic food!
