This is the spot for botanists. 25 species of orchids and other endangered species such as the dwarf lake iris and the metallic-looking Hine's emerald dragonfly. Five miles of boardwalk and trails. Visitor center with exhibits and classes. $5 trail fee for adults, children free.

An educational experience that teaches about the local flora and fauna that used to exist here and what to look for now. We have several species that are found only here in DoCo and perhaps one other place on earth. I love hiking their beautiful trails while on the lookout for rare plants.
