We are not sure what it is about this place that makes it so special. It's run by a Muslim family (we think from Morocco). They grow some of their food on the premises. They serve real mint tea, really good fish dishes, and the best veggie & cous-cous dish (Sof does not like cous-cous, but loves it here). The kind of food that makes our bodies feel nourished and whole the next day. Cash only.

This is a great cheap place for brunch and I've heard good things about dinner as well. It's a little Moroccan BYOB place.

Still a relatively well-kept neighborhood secret, cozy corner BYOB. Figs dishes out Mediterranean food in a Moroccan setting.

Very approachable Middle Eastern BYO in a tiny corner location in Art Museum area. Extremely affordable and everything on the menu is excellent. Cash only
