Swakopmund Skydiving Club is Namibia's premiere Drop Zone. The Club is operated by Ground Rush Adventures and Goskydive4fun and is situated 5 km's to the east of Swakopmund. The Club have been operating at the Swakopmund Airfield for over 28 years. The all famous "Desert Boogie" is also held at our drop zone. The Swakopmund Skydiving Club is a friendly, family feel, group of skydivers who like to have fun, because that is what it is all about at the end of the day. No matter who you are, where you from or your experience level, you are always welcome to feel the real Namibian skydive hospitality. So if you want to skydive and have fun, or just sit down and have a coffee or a meal, you are more than welcome to join us. The Swakopmund Skydiving Club we offer Tandem Skydiving as well as courses in Accelerated Freefall and Static Line jumps. PARAGLIDING: The dunes south of Swakopmund provide among the safest locations in the world to learn the art of paragliding. The fresh south-westerly winds offer ideal ‘lift’, and once air-borne there are spectacular views of the desert and ocean. The Namibian coast, where the dunes range from 70–150 metres, is one of the great training and fun-flying sites in the world. The dunes are regulated by the local training school to ensure safety and reduce overcrowding.
