This oceanfront park provides many delights for kayakers, picnickers, campers, hikers, and swimmers. The Park is located only a short distance from the ferry terminal and village center. It is an ideal location for discovering all that Gabriola has to offer

Descanso is a great day use area. There is a protected bay that offers good swimming and an easy launch point for kayakers.
