Also known as 'Kite Beach', this secluded beach is a mecca for kiteboarders like myself. There are several companies who can be hired for personalized lessons, or just go to watch! The winds generally pick up in the early afternoon, so that's the best time to visit. The park/beach itself is nothing special, and it's located in an industrial part of town, but the colorful kites are a sight to see, especially as the sun starts to set.

this beach park is the closest beach park to the cottage. it offers swimming, picnicking kite and wind surfing areas. great place to host a beach party as well.
