This is an amazing spot of preserved old-growth forrest that one of West Seattle's early settler families donated to the public. Hiking trails with a loop down to Alki Beach await.
It's a nice quiet old growth forest where you become one with nature as you walk along the trails. If you exit the park on the North end its only a few blocks to Alki Beach.
Very near the townhouse, lots of old growth trees. Not farm from Alki Beach, either.
Find the trail head in the neighborhood above ours (SW Manning and SW 53rd) and take a steep trail through old growth forest down to the beach.
