A charming and cozy zoo that you can nonetheless spend hours exploring with or without the children. This zoo also offers regular animal shows in the afternoon and has a cafe, play ground and petting zoo where parents can relax as the kids continue to cut loose.

De lokale zoo met exotische dieren, die ook een eigen reeks op TV gekregen heeft. Regelmatig evenementen. Heet nu 'Pakawipark'

Pakawi Park is sinds 1980 een dierentuin in Olmen, Balen. Tot 2019 stond de dierentuin bekend als de Olmense Zoo. Het park werd opgericht in 1976 door Louis Roofthooft en is in 1980 officieel voor het publiek geopend.

De Olmense Zoo is slechts 2 km van het Huis in het Bos verwijderd. Een zeer leuke tip voor een dagje uit.
