You can use the Kura-Kura bus at various points around Bali. The closest one to us is at the J4 hotel in central Kuta. You can walk down to the stop and get around to everywhere from there.

The Ubud Line connects DFS Bus Bay with Bali's center of art and culture, Ubud. The line travels from Kuta via Sanur (Gallery Coffee) to the cooler, mountainous area of Ubud, where visitors can enjoy the stunning natural beauty of lush valleys, terraced rice fields and the famous Sacred Monkey Forest. The bus line travels along Jl. Monkey Forest and up towards Ubud's main road, Jl. Raya Ubud, where attractions include the Royal Palace and Ubud Art Market. The bus then continues out of Ubud along Jl. Hanoman, with its many cute cafes and interesting shops.

The Kura-Kura buses are a relatively new addition to Bali. It's an inexpensive way to get to the beach towns but it does involve some transfers. Look online for their routes and fare schedule.
