The Museum of Theater Art of Serbia is a cultural institution of national significance that has existed since 1950 and is financed from the budget of the Ministry of Culture of RS. We are located in Christmas house, a building dating back to 1836 by pig merchant Miloje Bozic and which is in itself a cultural monument, located in Gospodar Jevremova street 19 in Belgrade. The Museum keeps theatrical materials that testify to the development of the theater in Serbia since the 13th century. The museum fund consists of objects relevant to scientific research or amateur studies of classical drama, opera and ballet art as well as new multimedia scenic forms. The Theatre Museum where you can see video projections of the most famous Serbian theater performances. Next to it, is musem of Vuk & Dositej, famous Serbian language reformer and educator.
