One of the highest peaks in Massachusetts. Less than a 1 hour drive away from Twin Oaks. The peak offers striking views of the Boston area from afar, as well as the Berkshires and Connecticut Valley to the other direction. In the summer, you can find any number of challenging trails to hike. However, Mt. Wachusett is most well known for its skiing and snowboarding opportunities in the winter.
