The original fort built for the Hudson's Bay Company. Offers daily tours and re-enactments
Lower Fort Garry has actors that play their respective parts in each of the fort buildings (e.g. blacksmith).
Open in the Spring and Summer, this themed National Historic Site is great for anybody. Actors dressed in traditional pioneer clothing take you through a day in the life of a fur trader as they would have lived in 1850. See the blacksmith, trading post, aboriginal camp, Big House (mayor's residence) and more! FREE admission in 2017 for Canada's 150th.
