Nel cuore di Venezia, posticino piccolo con piatti curati tipicamente Veneziani
Small nice trattoria close to Santa Maria Formosa Campo. a few tables only inside. You can taste the venetian seafood dishes, the menu dipends by the Rialto Market and changes everyday. Hight prices (you need to book in advance)
It's a little tavern with a bunch of tables, but here you can find traditional cooking reloaded in a creative and witful fashion; fish is again the star! Booking is in order to get a seat, and prices set themselves between medium and expensive.
Booking is a must. Small and cosy restaurant, very creative cuisine, expensive but worth it. It is probably one of the best restaurant in town.
...ask for Luca (the owner) and tell him I suggest you his trattoria. We were at the same high school, and he will welcome you as if I were with you. You must book in advance, as it a small place, highly appreciated.
Make a reservation - it’s tiny. Quality of food is great and it’s nice and cozy! Closed Sunday and Monday www.osterialletestiere.it
“if you are stuck near the airport , this restaurant serves one of the best fish crudo of the region . ”
“Many of Venice’s museums have innovative cafes and restaurants – the Ca’Pesaro even has a terrace on the Grand Canal – but few visitors discover the popular self-service canteen inside the landmark Palazzo Franchetti, whose striking Venetian gothic pastel yellow facade sits next to Accademia bridge. The caffeteria has huge glass windows overlooking a lush garden, the high ceiling hanging with flamboyant chandeliers. Each lunchtime a long buffet table is laid out with 20 different freshly-prepared dishes. For €15 you can eat all you want (except drinks, dessert, coffee), and there is no problem going back for seconds. Campo San Stefano 2847, San Marco, lunch only, closed Saturday and Sunday ”
