"Hop on hop off tours" Would mostly recomment the canal cruise and disrecomment the busride. Going about in the city the Dutch way takes a bike, not a bus!!

They also have busses and boats! I think the boat must be more nice since you don't have to do a canal tour anymore :-).

It's really touristic, but you shouldn't miss an canal cruise, maybe the hop on-hop off is a nice idea.
