Nuuksio is a beautiful National Park, not far away from the city centre. You can also get there cheaply with local transportation.

Nuuksio National Park is a beautiful and magical place, within easy reach of the Finnish capital. Here you can escape into wild natural settings and enjoy typically Finnish scenery, with lovely lakes and green forests. There are many different marked trails from easy to more difficult hikes as well as service and campfires in the park. If you like to see and experience the Finnish nature, this is a must during your holiday.

Nuuksio is a great place for a campout, day hike or just a couple hours enjoying the nature. There are services in the area all year round: Finnish Nature Centre Haltia, campfire sites, cooking shelters, dry toilets etc.
