Its mission is to maintain a traditional, reliable grocery and general store, cooperatively owned and governed by its members, and committed to serving locally sourced food, basic shopping needs and unique gifts, etc., and to be a welcoming center for eating meals and meeting friends. The store has a great supply of locally raised products, hot and cold food made fresh daily serving breakfast and lunch, and events such as Friday Pizza Nights during the warmer months, which feature fresh hot pizza made in their Wood fired clay pizza oven! It's truly a local gem and worth a visit.

Closest store to the cottages. Offers breakfast and lunch sandwiches as well as a good selection of beer, and a limited selection of groceries, wine, and necessities. There's fresh bread from Orchard Hill Breadworks on Tuesday and Saturday. On Saturday nights from late May through September, there's delicious made-to-order pizza baked in the wood-fired oven behind the store. Enjoy the pizza with friends, listening to live music during the summer, or take it out. There is a nice collection of local crafts, too. The post office, with limited hours, is also located here.
