Certainly not the right photo! The Lion of Belfort is a famous sculpture by Bartoldi, the artist who created the Statue of Liberty. Mounted on the side of the rock that forms the fortifications of Belfort, it was commissioned in recognition of the fortitude of Belfort which managed to hold out against the Prussians in the 1870 Franco-Prussian war.
