Designed in 2005 to usher in the new millennium, this is the first monument to be built in Putrajaya. The walkway twirling around the monument illustrates the history of Malaysia, the panels describing significant events in the country. There is a time capsule at the base of the monument which will be opened in 2020. As you move up along the ramps of the Millennium Monument, you can see sweeping views of the waterfront.

The Millennium Monument features a path way which wraps around the lower levels of the column features a timeline of engraved glass panels which trace the important milestones in Malaysia's history over the centuries up to the year 2000.

A structure like golden spaceship landed near the sea. The monument also provide a written historical vision dated from the year 1400 - 2020. The place also provide a nice platform that provide you with a great view of the lake.
