Great place for brunch. Vibrant bar/dining room upstairs. Very popular...get there early on weekends.
In 1998, Elizabeth's Restaurant opened in the historic Bywater neighborhood of New Orleans, as a fun hangout, with really good food, where everyone could afford to eat and enjoy. Its motto is "Real food, done real good."
One of the most venerable brunch spots in the city, try the duck waffle and the fried chicken livers with pepper jelly!
“Magical outdoor wine garden with the best cheese plates. Go in the afternoon so you can enjoy the weather or at night after dinner for a little gypsy jazz.”
“This BBQ restaurant has the best food in the area and has been featured on the tv show Diners, Drive In’s and Dives but come early for seating.”
“Great food and a pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Go ahead, take your drink in the pool! Drag brunch, anyone??”
“ AMAZING pizza. Its my personal favorite and it’s super quirky and definitely a hipster spot. Next door is Bratz y'all, Down the street is a cool beer brewery called Parleaux Beer Lab and Bud Rips & markey's bar (Probably the best hipster dive bars, quite the eclectic New Orleans crowd but so fun)”
“Satsuma Cafe hones a hipster vibe in the Bywater neighborhood. The vegan curry scramble with roasted sweet potato, kale, and cauliflower flavor blends are spot on. Mexican tacos and fluffy blueberry pancakes are hometown and out of town favorites. ”
