Originally built in 1106 by Richard de Redvers on orders of King Henry I. The castle remained the seat of the Earls of Devon until the mid 16th century. Only open Sundays, Thursdays and Bank Holidays in season.

Fascinating history going back to 1106. Go to website to check viewing times. Tiverton is only 30 minutes drive from Little Burston.

Believe it or not the local market town, Tiverton has its own castle! It is just a 10 minute drive from Wayflowers and is open from Easter to October.
