A good alternative adventure in summer and winter - it's a glacier where you can go on a suspension bridge at 2700 metres above sea and visit the the "Ice Palace" a cave with figures caved out of ice.

The most beautiful scenery. Even in the height of summer you can walk on a safe snow covered path and just enjoy the amazing scenery. There is also the Hanging Bridge and the Ice Palace to explore up there. Do take warm clothing, and as a special treat ask the lift personel if you can ride on the open top of the gondola bahn.......it will take your breath away! Do book a gondola ride from June to September though as it gets COMPLETELY sold out!

Feel like you are on top of the world! You can travel on the gondola for free with your summercard, which is included in the price of your room between May and October.

Dachstein is a 2,995 m high Austrian mountain with glacier. You can take a cable car to the glacier.
