Cutest neighborhood market & cafe. We use this local spot for emergency grocery essentials (or non-emergency treats) and great wine/beer selection, as well and fresh meals made with seasonal ingredients. Nice folks we love supporting!
Adorable and hip. Has great food and is also a great place for groceries (limited selection) if you want to walk to get yours. Check online hours before making the walk. Walk 6 blocks.
Good for lunch and casual dinner. Family friendly, delicious sandies. Weekend brunch is killer and not TOO busy - try their take on biscuits and gravy (tomato gravy?!?! Say WHAT?!). Featured on that Food Network show with the GUY with frosted blond tips.
This place is about as NE Portland Local as you're going to get. Great for Brunch, lunch, or dinner - feels super local on a neighborhood high street with great quality and friendly folks!
“Get your coffee and pastry fix here. Full bakery with a breakfast menu as well. Walk 8 blocks.”
“first non profit brew pub right down the street. They rotate different organizations to donate a portion of your order, and you get to choose which one you want to give to! Neighborhood friendly chill vibe with rotating brews on tap with food menu. I love their turkey club made on a parmesan sourdough bread, good salads. lots of other non alcoholic beverage options including local kombucha and French press coffee.”
