Take a walk down on Thames street in Newport, Neat coastal town to walk around, have lunch or dinner from a variety of restaurants and do a little shopping from the dozens of local stores and shops. 35 minute drive from the cottage.

The center of the City by the Sea's bustling downtown area, and one of the oldest streets in America. Cobble stone Thames Street is lined on either side with a myriad of shops, restaurants, and bars, making it a worthwhile place to stop between morning mansion viewings and sunset sails.
