This lane u-turns into AC/DC lane so that they almost feel like the same place. Great for street art and fine dining.

When it comes to uptown vibes, street cool and old school grime, Duckboard Place is kicking it on all fronts. Once the place where World War II troops came to be entertained and let off steam, the lane now attracts a more discerning punter. Covered head to toe in street art and gig posters, the lane is home to innovative Chinese eatery Lee Ho Fook, the Indian-inspired flavours of Tonka, Danish steakhouse A Hereford Beefstouw and the Mary Fortune wine bar. If that isn't enough to get you filled up and swinging, make your way via the back door to the labyrinthine Garden State Hotel or keep walking to link up with ACDC Lane, the city's rock hot spot and site of the famous Cherry Bar.
