Random Harvest is a quirky general store/grocery store with a lot terrific local products. They carry a huge selection of items from nearby farms (Hawthorne Valley, Pigasso, Herondale) and bakeries (Our Daily Bread, Pieconic). If you're gluten free like Nora, they have a terrific selection of gluten free items. Not as big as a grocery store, but they carry a little bit of everything and you can do your shopping here, especially if you are focusing on eating local. They have a deli counter in the back with healthy fresh meals for lunch. The hours are a bit tricky so check on google or their instagram account before going!

This place could also fall under cafe with a great vibe, and great prepared foods, warm and cold, for takeaway.

Similar to the Copake General Store, this is a well curated general market as well as a place to get fresh sandwiches and foods to eat in or take out.

Random Harvest is right next to the Red Church when you turn from rt 23 up West end rd to get to the Cabin. It is a Worker- owned Collective with Organic produce and home made food. All products are from local Farmers , Vendors and Artists. They have great frozen Lasagna and other dishes if you prefer not to cook yourself. In the Summer you can sit outside. The Atmosphere is lovely, but it is a bit pricey.
