It was named by Capt. Charles Prat Kennedy around the 1840s after his childhood sweetheart Anna. Back in the day, Annandale was a favorite cricket spot for the British. It’s worth visiting now for the view of the hills or for a picnic. The Indian Military Museum is now situated near the grounds.
