Johanna the proprietor has created a very special book store and cafe on Maine Street in town. She is so knowledgeable and has such great taste in newly published books. Coffee and tea cafe in the back.

You will find a lovely selection of books & gifts here and Johanna also has a lovely cafe to the rear of the space that serves home baked goodies and delicious coffee!

In case you didn't know Castine has an extraordinary bookstore. Not only that, the shop has a cute little cafe in the back that is always chock-full with locally made goodies and serving delicious espresso.
