Secluded luxury at the Kananaskis Nordic Spa. Outdoor thermal pools, sauna and steam. If you have ever been to a Scandinave Spa location, this is similar but more authentic. Massage and therapeutic treatments offered by RMTs.

Why wouldn't I recommend this place? If you like saunas, steam rooms, baths of different temperatures and overall relaxing while in the middle of the Rockies then this is for you!!

13. The Nordic Spa in Kananaskis is fantastic for those that have never done an outdoor spa and love to visit spas. Brand new renovation at the Pomeroy has resulted in a fantastic outdoor relaxing spa, best of its kind in Western Canada. Great hiking in this region as well, this is where the local’s play and follow point 7 for a scenic backcountry drive over, Spray Lakes Road and the Smith Dorian Highway. Weekdays are likely best for this venue due to popularity.
