Great to visit during the day because is a completely natural spot, no restrooms, no place to change, no lights at night. You can bring some snack and beverages.

There are several places where you can enjoy the hot springs, but there is one place where you can access for free. Very popular among the locals. Park in from of Tabacón and just walk down the road like 30 meters and you will see the access. Sometimes it could be crowded, but you can also pay the one day pass on other places, like Baldí or Ecotermales. For a real Costa Rican experience go to Los Laureles. I think this is the only place where you are allow to bring your own food and drinks.

If you are out of money, this is a great place to enjoy natural hot springs... Don't take any values with you, just bring the necessary (acuatic shoes, towel, extra clothes, something to drink or eat), don't forget to bring everything back.. especialy your trash!

You don't have to spend money to enjoy the natural hot springs. The family loved this activity and there were plenty of pools to enjoy. The water is so warm and the small waterfalls feel so good on your neck/back.
