Bunch of stores along Bleecker. A lot have closed, but still some good things along there. Also the adjacent West 4th St.
One destination if you want to experience the city's nightlife/music/karaoke, Bleecker street has it all.
Famous Street in Greenwich/West Village. Lots happening. Check out MacDougal St as well.
Bleecker Street from 11th street to 7th Avenue is lined with name brand boutiques as well as eclectic high end small brands : Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, Coach, Intermix, Rag and Bone to name just a few.
“My most favorite place in the whole world. Go there for sunset, go there for the run. It's stunning, it's peaceful, it's where the real New York life is. ”
“John's opened it's doors in 1929 and is known to be one of the four original pizzerias in NYC. The pizzas are still made the same way with the same ingredients - cheese going on first before adding sauce on top before going into a coal-fired oven. Go wild loading your pizza with all the ingredients you want; the thin, crunchy crust holds up perfectly, even piled high with toppings. ”
Grocery or Supermarket
“Newish grocery store is like a slightly fancier version of a Whole Foods. ”
“If you need your Starbucks fix, just a 5 min walk South on Hudson, on the corner of 10th and Hudson.”
“This Michelin-starred gastro pub is one of the best in the city, and is known for many amazing dishes. Burger-wise, the Chargrilled Burger with Roquefort is epically good - the ultra-thick beef patty is topped with the stinkiest, most delicious Roquefort cheese and comes with a mountain of shoestring fries. ”
