Northwest IPA is a traditional bottle shop nestled in the heart of the Foster Powell neighborhood. They specialize in IPA's and other regional craft brews, and have a rotating selection to choose from. Super laid back, nice place to drop in, great sidewalk seating where you can lean back and do…
Since 2012, N.W.I.P.A. has been known for its extraordinary quality IPAs and other limited supply beers. They continue to deliver on this tradition and hold in high regard the golden standard of the brewing of beer in the Northwest and beyond. Fantastic wine program as well.
“Bar Carlo has great food from breakfast to small plates at dinner, including an extensive vegan menu, a full bar, and the other half of the space has a record store, a indoor plant store, and vintage goods. There has been many a time I bought a few albums while waiting for my delicious food to arrive. The owners of Bar Carlo also go out their way to foster other community gatherings like craft nights, watch parties, for favorite tv shows, hosting local filmmakers, or the odd music performance. As it says on the wall "Foster is a verb"!”
“Coffee, tasty donuts and pastries, soups and sandwiches, and a full bar make Pieper cafe a favorite stop. Free wifi makes this a frequent place for all the self-employed to get out of their house, get a cup-of-joe, and get to working. The staff is pleasant and helpful, always nice to come in!”

“3 minute drive, 12 minute walk from Foster Cabin. Local cocktail bar. Serving drinks via limited outside seating. No food - but you can order from Atlas Pizza next door and bring your food to 5 and dime. ”
“Brew pub and pizzeria! Lots of different pizzas to choose from, and great microbrew to go with! They have a wonderful outside patio which is quite popular when that orb in the sky is out.”
