It's mostly referred to as the Thompson Falls. The waterfall is along the Ewaso Nyiro river that originates from Lake Ol Bolosat. Its 74 metres high. Visitors can access it from the Nyahururu-Nyeri road; 1 km from Nyahururu town.

This equatorial waterfall has several viewing points along the rim of the gorge. You could also get a workout while enjoying going down the steps to the bed of the waterfall that’s 74m high.
