Hike, bike or run ... Another favorite of ours for getting a sweat on or just soaking up some sweet Mt. air in the beauty of the forest. Also the NC Arboretum and botanicle gardens are a beautiful distraction.

Network of trails that that go around the Lake Powhatan area, which is also good for swimming. This is a really popular place for mountain biking and trail running as well as hiking.
