Winter or Summer this place is majestic! In the summer you can drive right up to where the 1-mile trail loop starts. In the winter you get some extra walking miles since the access road is covered in snow and closed. Very family and photo friendly!

Gold Creek Pond is an easy walk around a picturesque mountain pond atop Snoqualmie Pass. Located just minutes off of Interstate 90, it is the perfect hike for small children, who can walk unassisted the whole route, for parents pushing strollers and for people in wheelchairs. During the winter months, it is also one of the best snowshoeing trails in the area. This is not near the cabin, but it's on the way if you're traveling to/from Seattle on I-90.

Easy, handi-cap accessible hike, this has one of the most picturesque picnic grounds I have ever seen, and is often used for weddings.

An easy one-mile stroll around a beautiful pond, a nice walk through a forested valley, and fresh air all year round.
