Argentine inspired food & BBQ, great cocktails … very hip & fun. Has become a food destination in no time, plus won architectural accolades for its interior. Also has a beautiful courtyard seating. Surrounded by the eclectic 'Habitat' (Live & Work) development and hipster shops. Open for breakfast and lunch from Mon-Sat, for dinner on Wed-Sat. Check online as opening hours and days may change. Located in the Habitat Precinct in the Arts & Industrial area, Barrio’s Middle Eastern-inspired food is complemented by architecturally designed interiors centering around a large wood-fired oven where everything is cooked over open flame or coal.

Dining at Barrio is like eating at home with your family and friends, good food cooked slowly with love. I highly recommend in sharing a variety of different plates as the food is that good, this place is best for a lingering lunch or dinner with a beautiful glass of wine, enjoy the South American flavours, and take your time, a meal to be savored!

This is really a must. You will need a car or a bike as it's in the very cool industrial estate on Ewingsdale Road. Wine list and food menu are very good. Live like a local and try it!
