The best place for breakfast, hands down. It’s been serving Abilene since 1938. Sit at the counter and chat up your waitress. You won’t be sorry.

This is not quite a dive but very authentic. Been in business forever and you'll see all the locals here. Breakfast and lunch only. It was our kids' favorite place to go for a birthday breakfast. Traditional West Texas chow. The waitresses might call you "hon" and you can sit at the counter if the urge strikes. Very close. Take S. 14th east until you hit Butternut and then you've arrived at your destination. 5-7 minutes.
