Great Southern Indian/Sri Lankan food (with other Indian stuff on the menu as well). Huge amount of options for vegetarians and vegans, with plenty for omnivores as well. They deliver.
Very good Sri Lankan food on Victory Boulevard. With $18 for a bottle of Malbec - its a bargain. But don't expect a fancy interior.
“Conference House Park is a great destination for both nature and history buffs. This 267-acre site features four historic buildings from Staten Island's history. The Conference House, the Billopp House, the Ward House and Rutan-Beckett House all tell of New York's, and America's, past. History surrounds you as you stroll along beautifully kept pathways. Nearby is the Conference House, name for an unsuccessful Revolutionary War peace attempt. Held between a British delegation and John Adams, Edward Rutledge, and Benjamin Franklin on September 11, 1776, no agreement was reached and the war continued for another seven years. In addition to historic landmarks and breathtaking views, the park also boasts a newly refurbished playground, a Visitors Center, 2.5 miles of beach, paths for hiking and biking, and a "South Pole," which marks New York's southernmost point.”

“I've eaten there several times and I absolutely love this restaurant. They also serve some of the best pizza I've ever had.”
“One of the oldest military sites in the U.S. Built along the high ground of the Narrows is Fort Wadsworth, a formidable structure that has guarded New York City for over 200 years.”
