Lovely beach, either to swim or grab an ice cream and go for a nice walk. Beautiful walk from the beach along the water back into town

A place we frequent as a family often. Great for walks and a picnic on the island in the summertime.

The venue for the weekly 5km Parkrun every Saturday morning at 9.30am - Cramond coastline is a wonderful walk and there are a few cafes for a coffee, I would recommend heading more upstream past where the boats are berthed to Cramond Falls Cafe (just a little more reasonably priced and nice scones!). If the tide is out you can also walk out to Cramond island but please check the tide first as people are often marooned and the lifeguard has to rescue them. If you head up to George Street/Hanover Street you can get the number 41 bus out to Cramond.

If you time it right, you can walk out to the tidal Cramond Island: you've got 4 hours between tides!
