This is definitely in the top 5 state parks in Georgia, which says a lot. You could spend days here enjoying the sights and sounds of nature.

Take the cottage park pass and park across the street from the entrance to the falls, just past the park entrance on the left and across the bridge. There are two trails for viewing the falls. The one directly across the street from the parking lot continues past the falls for an awesome hike. Take hiking sticks, the trail is rocky and steep in places. The trail on the right on the other side of the bridge is great for viewing the falls and leads to an abandoned Mill along the river. Look for it past the falls on the left; steep drop to reach the mill. Climb back up and continue across the road to enter another trail. Can rent kayaks, paddle boards, and paddle boats at park office.
