A bakery and cafe - the place is busy (especially on weekends) but the coffee is excellent. The baked goods are fantastic - breads, pastry, sweets and savoury. Highly recommended if you are in need of a bite near the market.
Delicious baked goods, friendly staff, yummy hot drinks and you can the watch the world go by at the Royal Navel College opposite.
Fantastic reasonably-priced bakery. Not much space to eat in so take your pastries to the park!
“The Old Royal Naval College - Great place to browse and learn about some of the local history in the Visitor Centre, marvel at the ceiling in the The Painted Hall, or enjoy the Mean Time Old Brewery”
“The name of this bistro leaves little to the imagination, and while the cosy space on the edge of Greenwich Market also serves charcuterie — which hangs from the ceiling — cheese and Champagne are the main focus. Although served in those annoying conical flutes, the Champagne is sensibly priced and available with a selection of sharing boards. Service is quick and friendly, the décor is quintessentially French and the creamy, Burgundian Brillat-Savarin is a must-try.”
“lovely carrot cake ,victoria sponge cake and coffee walnut cake Also a cafe where you can have a cuppa with your family and friends”
“Not the cheapest, but really great sushi and cocktails. Grilled avocado with ponzu sauce was a very pleasant surprise when we tried it!”
