Mayflower Bocawina National Park is famous for its birding opportunity, wonderful hiking trails, zip lines and waterfall repelling adventures! An eventful day spent at Mayflower Bocawina Park deserves a freshly prepared drink/meal at The Wild Fig Restaurant, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the jungle you explored!

Eco-friendly adventure spot in the middle of the tropical rainforest offering ziplining and waterfall rappelling as well as beautiful hiking trails with a vast quantity of flora, fauna and birds to see. A rustic restaurant is also on site. A walk through the jungle has so many little things to see; leafcutter ants making their way across the trails in long heavy lines, orchids growing out from the tree trunks and huge termite nests are a few of the things that amazed me as well as many others. Just the effort made to keep the jungle growth from encroaching on this spot is incredible to see. A long ride in on a dirt road where the going is rough.

Strenuous but well marked hike through the jungle up to waterfalls and natural pool. Well worth the effort if you enjoy hiking.

This national park has over 7000 acres of rainforest, you will find over 290+ species of birds and protected wildlife (including crocs and jaguars!). This place is a natural paradise with miles of hiking trails, multiple waterfalls, natural pools of freshwater, a river, and unexcavated Mayan Ruins. You'll also find tours, and activities such: Ziplining and Waterfall Rappeling At the top of Antelope Falls you will find a beautiful viewpoint overlooking the rainforest and you can even see the ocean at a distance!
