Take the ferry to Block Island. Have a drink and food on the beach with tiki tents. Live bands. Great fun!

Great full day trip or overnight trip during the summer months. Take the morning Viking ferry from Montauk and return ferry at 5pm. Spend the day bike riding or mopeds around Block Island. Have lunch at Ballards and swim the ocean afterwards to cool off.

Total mayhem, bad cover-bands and mid-day surf-side drunkenness. Like a train wreck, its hard to look away, but given all that its great people watching with a beer in hand calf deep in the blue ocean
