Every sunday Park ave and Mount Royal st. Very bohemian experience, free, at least a hundred drummers playing all day, people dancing, selling food, selling drums, capoeira, midieval battle reconstructions, slacklining... Very Montreal. Check out the mountain while you're there and Mount Royal street for shopping

Great place to hang out on sunday in the park. Hundreds of people gather every sundays. People play tam tams, other sun bath, friend grab a drink together. Definately a great place to hang out on sunday.

Every Sunday they have a drumming circle on Mount-Royal near the Sir George-Etienne Cartier monument at noon from May 5-Sept 29. It is a free event.

The angel statue, at Parc and Rachel, is where you absolutely MUST be on Sundays, weather permitting. Here is where the most Montreal thing of all time takes place roughly from the first Sunday of April to the Last Sunday of October. Largest predictable yet unofficial gathering of people in, dare I say, the province if not the country. Tam Tams. Everyone in the area - hundreds to thousands of people - show up with their blankets and beer and pot and yoga mats and kids and dogs and guitars and snacks and so on and so forth...and we just chill together and make music and enjoy life all afternoon. It it non-negotiable. You have to go.

Sunday afternoon, loads of locals gather to picnic, watch drum circles, and LARP in the park! It's a must-do in the summer.
